We were very impressed by the small details in this accomodation, and everything seemed to be catered for, spare wood outside for the log burning stove, fresh milk and a full on cream tea in the fridge, birdfood for the feeder hanging up outside on the decking( the semi tame squirrel liked it too), and even simple things like spare lightbulbs and matches in the drawers in the kitchen to name a few, it all went a long way to making a perfect break and there is a private parking space , the local pub (300 yards away) in the cove serves amazing food and are very friendly, our dog really enjoyed her time there, and if your looking for home comforts away from the crowd this place is perfect for a romantic break in relative privacy......

Klare Empfehlung!...

Tree Tops is a wooden lodge for two people and your four legged friend, it as everything you could need for a week’s break. It is tastefully decorated with windows all along one side and a wooden balcony with chairs so you can sit and watch the birds and resident squirrels feeding. It as a shower room at one end and a kitchen at the other end both have everything you could need. There is a log burner if it gets chilly which we only lit the once on our stay due to a rainy day, we just lit the burner and watched a film on the large tv which as all the channels you can think of. Out of the gate and down the hill about 2 to 3 hundred yards and you are on the beach or in the cafe or pub. We spent a few nights in the latter which serves great food and as a folk night one evening and the local sea shanty singers on another giving the place a great atmosphere not to be missed. If you walk up the hill into the little village there is a shop come cafe that sells just about everything or a little further there is a farm shop selling its milk, ice cream and other bits. If you go down the road opposite there is a little bakery that sells its bread at the side of the road, so a little stroll around the village in the morning and you’ve got all your supplies for the day which we did most mornings. You can pick up the local cider from the Cider barn which you pass on your way from Helton and you can get Anne’s pastries in Lizzard it’s self. We found Tree Tops a great base for exploring the Lizzard or further afield and would love to return in the near future....
