Agatha Cottage exceeded our expectations. The interior is stylish, and importantly comfortable, very well equipped and of course spotless. There are also nicely situated tables and chairs for eating outside on the sunny days. The village of Galmpton is very nice in itself, with a good local pub for meals, and only a short distance from Brixham, Broadsands Beach and National Trust properties. Our visit to Agatha Christie's holiday home Greenway, which is very close, was a highlight of our holiday. MB Tunbridge Wells...

We stayed at Agatha Cottage in 2019, not long after it had been renovated and offered on Classic Cottages, and loved the whole decor and style of the place. We were delighted to find it was all still as immaculate this time as our original visit. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need with the appliances being of high quality. The location is ideal; it's very easy to get around and see places but equally you are away from the crowds. We were able to explore a number of walks directly from the cottage with a loop via the ferry to Dittisham, down to Dartmouth and returning back via Kingswear to Glampton being a highlight. There are numerous food options around, but River Shack at Stoke Gabriel is throughly recommended. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage....

Agatha Cottage is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The location is ideally situated between the 'English Riviera' coast and the River Dart and walking distance to the latter. There are so many things to do in the area but we especially enjoyed the River Dart, its associated towns and the coastline to the west where the beaches are stunning and uncrowded. The only thing we missed a little was an outside space with a view but this did not distract from the overall experience....

The cottage was 1st class, a lot of care and attention to detail went into this cottage.and never wanted for anything. Spotlessly clean and Sam was always on hand for any advice
Mr Gilmurray July 2022
We had a lovely week, and the cottage was the best part of it. Brilliantly renovated, and tastefully furnished and equipped - a masterclass in quietly efficient elegance. Thanks, Sam, for being a thoughtful and considerate host. This was our first holiday with classic cottages, and you've set the bar high!...
