This is a lovely cottage and our second stay here. The drive from St Austell to Goran Haven is spectacular. The cottage is bright, airy and welcoming and the milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were gratefully received. The only blight was one of the neighbours who is building a holiday let in his back garden next to the Old Dairy so from Monday to Friday from 08.30-18.45 we had the sound of a digger, a motorised wheelbarrow and the accompanying stench of petrol fumes. Although we were out every day breakfast and the early evening were somewhat spoilt. Expect similar disturbances over the coming months. Saying this we would return as the village and the area is lovely. Be sure to visit Lobbs farm shop at the Lost Gardens of Heligan and have fish and chips in the village chip shop....

We found the cottage above our expectations , the pictures don’t do it justice . It was extremely clean , everything you need is provided including tea , coffee , sugar , small bottle of milk to get your first cuppa , washing up liquid , dish washer tablets . The housekeeper was very pleasant and full of local knowledge , a most enjoyable time was had by us both ...

We were very happy with the old dairy, it was cosy while being light and airy feel to the cottage, the cottage was very well equipped with everything anyone would need, the bed was also very comfortable a great nights sleep, would definitely recommend Gorran Haven it’s a lovely little fishing village. ...
