This stretch of coastline has some wonderful family-friendly beaches to discover.
The National Trust's Lanhydrock House, gardens and parkland are quite stunning and within easy access - there is also a great network of cycling trails across the park.

We had a fantastic holiday in Cornwall, and Sweet Briar Cottage was the perfect base. The cottage is well equipped, clean, and has plenty of space. The garden, and in particular the tree house was a big hit with our children. The cottages location is excellent, with some nice walks in the local area. A very pretty cottage in a very pretty village in a lovely part of Cornwall. Very useful to have a shop and a pub and off street parking. Excellent walking at Gribbin Head and the Halls walk circuit using two ferries.

We were blessed with mixed but overall good weather and having 2 places to sit in the garden was lovely - very peaceful spot and a lovely house. I have been to Lerryn before with my husband and loved the walks on the doorstep but going this time with my son and his 1 year old daughter we found lots of child friendly things to do in the area - the best being Porfell wildlife and animal park which was lovely and Polkerris beach which was not too busy but some amenities. ...
