We stayed for 2 weeks in Sept/October and really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the cream tea and the flowers left for us was a really nice welcoming touch - thank you Emma! It is tastefully decorated, very well equipped with everything we needed and more besides. Lovely big garden and it was shame we couldn't use it more because of bad weather. The position in Marazion is great, as is the parking space. It was also very quiet. Really comfy bed and bedding. Great en-suite shower. We hope to stay again next year...

The Old School Room is a wonderful cottage. It is in a wonderful location and the mount and beach are easily walkable. There is an even nearer dog walking beach than long rock and a lovely walk on the hillside behind the cottage. The garden is secure for dogs although I did have to block a gap by the pole as my dog was taking a lot of interest in it! We caught the direct but to Penzance and St Ives to avoid traffic and parking. This was easy and the stop was near the property. I am struggling to think of any negatives. This cottage met all our needs (walkable beach/pub/Mount) and was lean with everything for a great stay. A lovely welcome ‘pack’ too, including milk, tea bags, scones and dog treats was a ‘welcome’ surprise. Book here and you won’t be disappointed....
