The property exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodbine Barn. We met the owner towards the end of our week who was extremely pleasant and thoughtful. On arrival, we were surprised but very appreciative that some provisions and flowers had been left for us - a very considerate gesture which made us feel very welcome. As well as the barn, we particularly liked the privacy of the garden and use of the private paddock (our two small dogs enjoyed running around in the paddock each morning) and the wonderful view of the surrounding Devon countryside was breathtaking. Great place to recharge!! Fields at the back were perfect for the training of my gundogs!! That was really something extra that made it a perfect holiday for us all!! Dogowners: please be aware that your dogs should be under control all time. There is no fence around the garden. Free access to countrylane and surrounding fields. Lots of wildlife, roe deer grazing in the fields in morning and evening....
