Overall, this we had an excellent holiday at Woodbine Barn. The location, in the middle of gorgeous Devon countryside, is superb. Nothing to hear but the sound of silence! There are also a number of good walks to be had right on the doorstep. If you like peace and quiet, you'll enjoy Woodbine Barn. That said, many of North Devon's attractions are within easy driving distance, for example the seaside towns of Ilfracombe, Lynmouth and Woolacombe and the excellent beach at Saunton Sands. Exmoor is right on the doorstep featuring the Exmoor Pony Centre and attractive villages such as Dulverton and Exford. From a practical point of view, Woodbine Barn is well equipped and furnished. A wonderful break in a peaceful setting set well off the beaten track. Perfect for dog owners with a large paddock our the back of the cottage. Beautiful walks from the cottage and many other places easily accessible from the cottage. Particularly enjoyed visiting the Lynton / Lynmouth area as well as Woolacombe beach....
