Sunsets (over Rinsey)

Fantastic upside down house! Sea views are mesmerising. The walk along the coast to Porthleven was hard going but the views made it worth it along with the crab sandwiches at the end. Praa sands is a beautiful beach just a 10 minute walk away. Oh and the scones jam cream & Polgoon wine was much appreciated. So much so we paid the vineyard a visit to buy more to take home. ...

This cute little house is beautifully placed to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer. It sits so close to the coastal path, and, as such, enjoys a brilliant aspect and all the peace and quiet of this tiny hamlet. The silence at night, and the blackest of skies, is not something we are used to at home and so this was fabulous. If you want to escape but be able to access the coast, beach and lovely walks, this is it! The house itself is small but beautifully thought through and decorated. It’s really well equipped- you want for nothing in terms of what you might need- the kitchen especially. Loved the two large TVs - such a treat-the cosy lounge, binoculars for surveying the sea, and our Dachshund loved the sunny window seat for spying on the dogs next door. We appreciated piping hot water, great water pressure, the amazing bath, the garden and ‘sunset-watching’ seat, and feeling at home because of all the home-comforts. Thanks to the owners for the wine, milk, cream tea, flowers, and elderflower presse. Not all are so generous! As ever, Classic Cottages, you do not disappoint and that is why we love you and keep coming back!...

Rinsey is a perfect location for exploring the Pendeen peninsula, the Lizard, and the north coast around Hayle and St Agnes. 'Sunsets't; is at the end of a quiet lane with terrific sea views and very little light pollution - the stars on a clear night are amazing. The cottage has excellent facilities and equipment - even a wine fridge! ...

Sunsets is a lovely cottage, very well equipped for your stay in Cornwall. Good location for exploring Penzance, St Ives, St Michael's, Marazion, Mousehole, Minack/Porthcurno, going on the coastal train, all things we wanted to see and do. Lovely walks nearby and glorious beaches at Praa Sands and Porthleven. Fish and chips good in Porthleven and scrumptious ice cream - Nauti but Ice - try the salted caramel! The refreshments on arrival were very welcome and thoughtful. We had not been to Cornwall before, we both really enjoyed it, will definitely recommend Cornwall and Classic Cottages to friends and family and we will hopefully return, to visit again. highly recommended even better than description, loved our stay with Doogie the labradoodle . Location just great and some lovely places to visit , liked kynance cove and st Ives.
