The layout of the cottage was practical and some serious thought has gone into it. It was perfect for 2 people and we felt welcomed by our hosts from the outset with a cream tea awaiting us on arrival. The cottage which was faultlessly clean throughout was extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Everything we needed for a week's stay had been thought about and was provided. Instructions on how to get to it were precise and the location for visiting many of Dorset's landmarks and country houses was perfect. Sherborne was only 15 minutes away and we found excellent restaurants and amenities as well as the wonderful Abbey and Castle. It was a wonderful stay! ...

Our stay at this cottage was wonderful. Everything you need and more is available. It definitely has the touch of a woman’s hand because nothing one needs to be comfortable is missing.
