Lakeside House is amazing, it has a peaceful tranquility about it even though it’s only 3 miles from Cullompton. It’s bright, clean, spacious and comfortable with everything needed for any type of holiday; there’s plenty to do in the area if you want activity or if you want a peaceful retreat you can stay in. I was a bit apprehensive about spending 7 days there because everyone was fishing except me, however, this is definitely not just a fishing holiday! Walks around the lakes taking pictures of the sun rising, misty mornings, birdsong and sunsets would appeal to any photographer or painter; tranquil days if you want to sit by the beautiful lakes reading or writing and plenty of room in the house for taking hobbies. We received a letter from the house manager about a month before our arrival date providing additional information as well as offering some special options that we may like for our stay, to which we replied. We also called the week before arrival to confirm that all was in order. On arrival our access was very easy, as was our exit with good communication all round. The house was well prepared including some provisions which made for a great start. All in all a most pleasant stay, highly recommended....
