A lovely and spacious cottage, located in a great area for exploring the Lizard. Despite visiting this area numerous times over the years, it never fails to disappoint. Conveniently located near Gwella’s dairy for superb gelato style ice cream and Gear Farm for the best (award winning) pasties. Numerous beaches to enjoy, such as Kennack Sands, Coverack, Poldhu and Church Cove. The house itself was cool inside despite the very hot summer temperatures we experienced and well equipped for all our needs. Would definitely return to this property in the future. ...

This was our second stay at Miranda Cottage. It’s a lovely property in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The house is very roomy, seating six adults comfortably in the lounge. The kitchen has plenty of room for preparing meals and has a good supply of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The cake left for us was very much appreciated. The cottage is extremely dog friendly and easy to keep clean after a walk on the beach. St Martin is an ideal location for exploring South West Cornwall. Most beaches now allow dogs from September through to June, some all year round and there are plenty of dog friendly cafes and pubs. Lovely walks at Trelowarren and the coastal paths around the Lizard peninsula. The Polpeor cafe at Lizard Point has fantastic views and excellent food. We also enjoyed meals at The Mussel Shoal on the harbour at Porthleven, The Halzephron Inn and Roskilly’s Croustade House Restaurant. The freshly made pasties from Gear Farm in St Martin are delicious. This area is beautiful in May, we had a couple of days with rain but it cleared quickly, the rest of our week was warm and sunny. We will definitely be booking again. Kennack Sands isn’t far away ...

Miranda Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay with a lot of character. It is very rural with lovely views over surrounding countryside but the narrow country lanes are not for the fainthearted! There are some great places to visit nearby. The entrance gate to the property is quite narrow for larger cars and it is difficult to turn around once inside....

Lovely week at Miranda Cottage. The weather was cold but bright enabling us to do some lovely coastal walks. The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the Helford River, Mullion, Prussia Cove and Coverack. Lovely welcome from Graham with a home made chocolate cake. The cottage is warm and cosy and ideal for a family of five and a dog!...

We loved Miranda Cottage. This beautiful and very spacious cottage felt extremely welcoming. It was warm and cosy and the mermaid and ammonite bathroom was out of this world. If you like peace and quiet, this one is for you. Classic Cottages were extremely efficient and fast when we experienced an electric outage. Thank you. We found delicious, freshly baked cakes on arrival and really appreciated that. Thank you Graham. The only item missing was a tumble dryer and a clothes drying rack that can accommodate a washing machine load. ...
