Stable Cottage has French doors that lead out onto a wonderful and really large, lawned garden. The feature pond attracts some amazing birds - do take care with small children though.

The summer-house faces south and looks over the garden - a real sun trap and perfect spot for a barbecue.
The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.
There is a large separate utility-room with a further cloakroom.
The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.
Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.
There is an Aga for you to enjoy too!

Children will love to see the chickens - you might even be treated to some fresh eggs!
The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

We enjoyed our week at Stable Cottage very much. The owners were most welcoming and made it clear that we should contact them if we had any problems. I also have to mention their adorable dog Ginnie who is a delight! The cottage was spacious, warm and comfortable with everything you might need. There is a beautiful, peaceful garden surrounded by open countryside. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders near the cottage window and a daily visit to the chickens at the bottom of the garden! We spent more time at the cottage than we would normally do on holiday as we were still cautious about eating out but we really couldn't have had a better place to do so and had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday after what has been a terrible year....

Enjoyed a very peaceful stay at Stable Cottage this summer. Very quiet location and lots of wildlife in the garden. The cottage is comfy and well equipped. The only thing I would suggest is to provide a few books/secondhand toys for children but otherwise it was perfect. I would definitely return here. Thank you for a lovely stay. ...

What a lovely break away we had in this lovely spacious cottage with amazing scenery in a very quiet and peaceful location. The cottage had everything we needed, with both traditional and modern features, it was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Everywhere you looked in the garden there were stunning view's and the wildlife was in abundance. One of the best cottages we have stayed in with the owners being so welcoming. Can't wait to go back!!...
