Top marks for this amazing place. The owners were lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble. The hut was beautiful. Bed comfy. Everything you needed in the hut. The hot tub brilliant. Clean and checked everyday. Beautiful setting. So peaceful. Only noises are the cows snd birds. Some lovely fresh eggs and bottles of wine from the owners. Lots of lovely walks around. Will definitely be back!...

A very nice stay. Welcoming us was sue to help us settle in. We enjoyed the isolation and setting, ideal to walk on the quantock hills. The garden was enclosed allowing our dog to wander freely and interact with the cows over the fence. Hot tub was lovely to relax in after a day out. Would definitely recommend. ...

Fantastic location private setting. Great hut. Hot tub and fire pit. Little extras were a lovely touch. Sue the host is fab

Duck Puddle is a quiet, relaxed and private Shepherds Hut that is dog friendly and safe. It has a fully enclosed green space with a lovely hot tub and views across the neighbouring field of cows (friendly and nosey!), rabbits (shy) and the wooded Quantocks less than 5 minutes walk away. The local wildlife is fun to watch whilst loitering at your outside dining space with a G and T in the evening. The hut itself is fully equipped with all you need(Fridge, cooker, shower, wc, bed etc) and is very well appointed and comfortable throughout. Don't be surprised if you find the local chickens wandering around outside your hut at times as they do like to visit. The hosts Sue and Terry are friendly, informative and chatty and you may find little gifts such as freshly laid eggs left outside or even fresh figs and do ask Terry about his cider although be warned it will knock your socks off! We had the opportunity to assist in feeding the cows and even got to bottle feed baby goats whilst admiring the large duck pond. It is quite idyllic. We had a wonderful relaxed week and returned home fully chilled and recharged and we will certainly return in the future. Did I mention the goats?...
