Bespoke shutters, exposed walls and slate sills all add to the character.
There are beautiful features throughout - maintaining the original charm and character.
The sunken terrace garden is very private and secluded.
There's even a hot and cold shower outside (not operational during the winter months) ideal for rinsing off sandy bodies and wetsuits.
The steps lead down to the sunken terrace - please take care with children on the steps.
There are fabulous beaches on this part of the coastline - Polzeath will delight all members of the family.
Pretty Port Isaac of Doc Martin, Fisherman's Friends and Nathan Outlaw fame is well worth a visit.
Hop on the foot ferry from Rock over to Padstow.

This 16th Century Cottage is full of character. It’s quirky stair case and sloping floors adds to its charm. It’s backs onto a cemetery and church which may not be for everyone. We didn’t have any ghostly visitors! There are no wardrobes or heated towel rails. There is also no tumble dryer so I imagine in the winter months this may be an issue drying clothes. Great location , local pub absolutely fantastic especially at the moment with restrictions etc . Cottage very well stocked with absolutely everything you could need, clear instructions on where to find things and how to use all the equipment, very nicely furnished and we’ll definitely return....
