If you’re looking for some different/unusual accommodation the Shepherd’s Hut ticks this box. A cottage that has been through a hot dry, it is perfectly equipped with everything to ensure you’ll relax and make the most of your weekend. Superb views of the coastline coupled with a 20min walk to Padstow and 1hr 20 into Wadebridge so the location isn’t bad either. If you’re not the most adventurious walker, the camel trail is flat and will fill you with a sense of achievement when you reach you destination. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to anyone. ...

We loved our mini break. Location is excellent, right on the Camel Trail, great for walking, cycling or running. Close to the beach, nice restaurants and a bit of shopping in Padstow is great. If you don't fancy going out you can relax in the garden, use the BBQ, light the fire pit or curl up and go to sleep in front of the wood burner. We would recommend eating at The Golden Lion in Padstow, great food, lovely cosy setting and not over priced, attentive staff and best of all family run. We came back well rested and wanting to book again another time!!! ...

This is a true home away from home. What more can I say - stunning views, amazing hosts and a wonderful little pad in a great location. This is one I would recommend to anyone. The facilities are great - fire pit, amazing bbq and then Alison/John have thought of all those little touches that make the stay even more special. A place to relax and have some time out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hut and the only issue was having to leave to come home....

We had the most magical short break and I will definitely be back. A beautiful setting in a perfect location. Being able to walk into Padstow in the evenings and enjoy the restaurants as well as having the luxury of an exceptional BBQ with stunning private view meant that this hut had it all. All the daytime activities that the camel estuary has to offer are on your doorstep, whether that's walking, cycling, sailing or surfing or enjoying a local cream tea/pint its all accessible within walking distance. The hit itself was so wonderful and cosy and not a bit crampt. The level of care and attention that went into every furnishing and detail was incredible. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday and have since been unable to stop raving about it to all our family and friends. Thank you Alison and John !...
