We stayed here over the Queens Jubilee last year and we had the best week ever. The house itself is lovely, it was very clean upon arrival, very homely with great facilities and nicely decorated. We also bought our spaniel and the house was perfectly dog friendly with a stair gate which was very useful. This lovely home is in a beautiful location, tucked away so easy to unwind but everywhere you want to reach is only a quick drive away! The local woods which are a short walk up the road were stunning and Holywell became our favourite place to have an evening walk. I also would highly recommend the Smoke Shack and the The fox’s Revenge near by! It was such a wonderful holiday, with very kind welcoming hosts, but they also left us to it so we really did unwind as we wanted to. I can’t recommend this place enough and would love to return in the future! ...

Lovely cottage, small but had most things needed for self catering for two. Very comfy bed, good standard of cleanliness and plenty of hot water. Very quiet location with pub within half an hours walk. Friendly and helpful owners. Would be good to have basics of tea, coffee and milk on arrival.
