Difficult access down unmade road running with rainwater. No car turning space by cottage and impossible to reverse up narrow access track after dark. On arrival cottage cold and bedding etc cold/damp at 10 degrees. Engineer repressurised boiler after 1 1/2 hours. Agent should have checked cottage before our arrival. ...

The heating was checked by the housekeeper prior to your arrival and it was found to be working; it's unfortunate that the presure then dropped and caused an issue. We've enjoyed our four stays at Quiet Corner and its safe secure garden that meets our requirements when visiting the Isle of Wight, so we've booked next year's visit.
