Great position to Ryde and the sea. Lovely walks near by. Kitchen extremely well stocked. Beds comfortable. A bit dated needs some love. Overall good.

I always like staying at East Gull Sands as it is so close to the beach & the view from the 1st floor bedroom is wonderful. The house itself is spacious, & well equipped with everything you could need whilst on holiday.

East Gull Sands is very well placed on Duver Road, opposite the beach. What's not to like! It has everything you need to make your holiday a breeze with a lovely garden to sit in as well. Off road parking is also great as the road gets very busy in the summer. Can't wait to return....

Miss Calow September 2023

We really enjoyed our stay at East Gull sands. Everything is a tad dated, but clean, comfy and functional which is all you really need on holiday. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the shower and bath are excellent, which always makes a big difference. Plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen is again dated but very well equipped (except for oven gloves) and having a washing machine and tumble dryer was very helpful. The area is quiet and absolutely beautiful, (the beach is literally right as you walk out the front door) but all of the bigger towns and shops are very easy to get to by car. Lovely secluded garden at the back and a nature reserve basically right behind the house offers lots of greenery as well as the beach. The only issue we encountered was patchy (and sometimes non-existent) wi-fi signal in some of the rooms in the house, but this was explained in the welcome packet, and is understandable given the secluded location. Price-wise, we went off-season in early October so we did not pay as much as one might in summer, so it felt a sensible price. Not sure the higher prices would have been affordable for us in the summer, but we happened to go during a mini autumnal heatwave so it actually all worked out brilliantly for us! Over all my friend and I really enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend East Gull Sands. Classic Cottages kept us informed from booking to our stay, and we were also grateful for the discount off the ferry journeys to and from the Island. ...
