The hosts were absolutely amazing. Welcoming & friendly. They were very patient with our two kids and took the time with them to introduce them to their dogs and animals. Our break started well with a super friendly welcome at this picture-postcard shepherds hut. The owners have thought of everything, from the well equipped kitchen to comfortable beds with luxurious cotton bedding. Unlike many shepherds huts, this one has two separate bedroom areas, making it feel spacious and that you have your own room if sharing with a friend or family. The electric heaters are a clever addition, with the back up of a gorgeous mini wood stove, which we didn't need despite chilly evenings as the hut is so well insulated. The hot tub is a welcome touch, with the most amazing views. We used it way more than we expected, and loved how it eased us out after long walks in the truly stunning Devonshire countryside that leads straight from the door....
