Fantastic property with high quality fittings and furnishings and a location with stunning views of the sea. It is a short walk down to the beach which was great during the heatwave. St Ives, Padstow and the Eden Project are all close by so an ideal base for visiting....

Rockaway is as good as it looks in the photos if not better. The view is amazing. It’s a lovely stroll to the beach which is good for swimming, bodyboarding, rock pooling and cave exploring (at low tide). Being able to pop down to the beach with the kids after dinner and take advantage of the long light evenings was a particular highlight. The property itself is very comfortable and really well equipped. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. The hot tub was brilliant. We went to the Portreath Arms Hotel at the bottom of the hill (less than a 5 minute walk) a couple of times and the food and service were both good, and we also found Rockaway a good base for exploring other areas as it is within an easy drive of St Ives or St Michael’s Mount where we spent an excellent day. This is the second time we have visited Rockaway. This property is absolutely beautiful everything you could need and well equipped. The beds are really comfortable and it is lovely to wake up in the morning overlooking the sea. Where it is situated is amazing with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach and sea, we did not want to go far, we just sat and watched the Ocean. The cleanliness is exceptional, and we loved the hot tub. Can highly recommend ...
