Our first holidays in North Devon. What a place The Linney is! There were so many things to see and to explore. But most of all we enjoyed this marvellous cottage. Or is it eventually a mansion? It is very spacious and generous with light. You have an unspoiled view of the sea from the living and dining room. And of the hills to the west and to the east from the patio. The couch and the armchairs are very comfortable and stylish. The two bedrooms invite you to snuggle in and in one case, to enjoy the view of the sea. The bathroom also is very spacious and lets no wishes unfulfilled. The whole property was very tidy and clean. Thank you Sian for your helpful tips and delicious croissants, we enjoyed it a lot. The sea doesn‘t give you answers, but you forget all your questions. And The Linney is definitely a place for that....

What can I say, the view is worth the entrance fee on its own. It looked good in the pictures, but they don't do it justice. I have never watched so little TV on holiday, just looked out the window. Very cosy, comfortable cottage especially on the odd days the wind was blowing and rain falling. Everything you need and very clean. The Wi-Fi is a bit challenging, but the place is very rural and I know from experience this can be difficult to improve. It's fine for browsing, just don't expect to stream HD films, look out the window instead. Excellent places to eat around, highly recommend the Pyne Arms and the local crab sandwiches in Lynmouth were amazing. The Farm shop in Coombe Martin also has excellent produce if you fancy cooking, try the ribeye steaks. All I'll say is we booked it for next year as soon as we got back. Definitely the place to chill out and forget real life for a week....

A lovely, quiet, spacious cottage with sea views. It is probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed in with ample crockery, and cutlery. Wi-fi is poor and almost non-existent. You will need to use 5G. Care is needed on the drive up past the farm but there is an alternative route through the campsite. You can walk down to the pub but it is a steep walk back! Good walks nearby such as Morte Point, Baggy Point plus beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe. We would happily stay again - preferably in warmer months so that we could enjoy the patio....

The linney was an beautiful place to stay, with amazing views out to the sea. There were plenty of coastal walk within easy reach. And a great place to explore North Devon from. Would definitely stay at the linney again.
