A perfect place to stay! We could live there......
Mrs Meadows July 2018
The cottage was exactly as expected the photos on this occasion didn't lie. We enjoyed our week of peace and views greatly. We would definitely recommend this property.

This is a lovely location but expect to eat in and order an on line shop as there arent many decent places to eat near by and the shops are village stores.

We're so pleased that you enjoyed the location of The Linney. One of the most appealing features is its rural position and tranquility, but of course this does mean that restaurants and supermarkets are a little further afield. We'd always encourage visitors to the area to support our lovely local shops and villages, as they rely on this business to continue to trade. Many are absolute treasure troves with delis, wine cellars and local produce all being available alongside post office facilities and a very friendly face at the till! Tanya, Customer Support...

Mrs Day September 2018
We enjoyed our week here once the weather improved and we could get out walking. The views from most of the windows where fabulous, we watched lots of boats going back and forth. We had some lovely sunsets over the back fields with the horses rolling about in the mud, so funny. Access to the cottage is narrow and full of pot holes, our only real downer....apart from the cobwebs.......

Thank you for your review of The Linney - we were pleased that you enjoyed the local walks and those fabulous views over the sea and surrounding countryside. The access lane is a farm track so may be a little bumpy in places. We are very sorry that some cobwebs had been missed. Alison, Customer Support ...

Veiws spectacular. Wi fi practically non existent. No mobile phone signal at all and tv signal very poor. Cleanliness terrible.

We were so sorry to receive your review, especially as this property usually scores very highly in our feedback system and is always very well loved by guests. The WiFi is just a basic package (the very rural setting means that this is the best available - it's not really suitable for business use as you found) and regrettably the thundery weather did affect the TV signal intermittently; we can only apologise but unfortunately this was out of our control. We were surprised and concerned by your comments about cleanliness as this really doesn't match our experience of the property over the years that we've been marketing it. We've spoken with the owner and she does agree that unfortunately the freezer was iced up and needed cleaning out, there was some bird muck on the garden furniture and there were two dead woodlice inside. She is very sorry for these small oversights and would have gladly put them right during your stay if you'd let her know when you saw her. These areas have been quickly addressed and we're very confident the the cottage is back up to the very high standard that guests have always found. Tanya, Customer Support...
