Coombe Lodge is lovely to look at and the inside certainly does not disappoint. The property is very well designed with good sized rooms. Sue has a great eye for detail and all furnishings are of the best quality. The hot tub and sauna are fantastic extras for people who like to relax in that way. In fact, we are in agreement when saying this is the best property in which we have stayed over the last 45 plus years - no exaggeration!...

This place is absolutely stunning and I would thoroughly recommend it to adults and children alike. It has so many little touches and things you wouldn't expect. The hot tub and sauna is an excellent bonus and the individual towelling robes are just one of the extra little things we didn't expect. Sue and Terry are such lovely people and nothing is to much trouble for them. They go over and beyond to accommodate any needs you require. My family live in Dubai and this was such a refreshing break for them all. Terry took them every morning to feed the cattle, chickens, ducks, pigs and lambs. Also they loved collecting the eggs for our breakfast every morning. He also took them and my son on a tractor ride through the fields to see a pond and stream where they could fish for stickleback, which I hadn't seen for years. The flowers on the table, bottle of wine and delicious lemon butterfly cakes on arrival were another surprise. As my grandchildren said, best cakes they have ever had and that's coming from one who is a chocoholic. We all totally agreed. Sue is the most friendliest person and makes you feel totally at home. We all want to come again. Thank you both for making our stay so very special, we all appreciated. ...

The cottage was well equipped with a few extra touches like spare toiletries in case you had forgotten anything. A bottle of wine and some lovely cakes were a welcome surprise. We had a very relaxing week,the hot tub and sauna came in very handy,plenty of space for all of us to chill out....
