The rugged coast can be explored via the South West Coast Path for a short walk or a full day out ending up in a pub.
The pretty harbour at Porthleven is surrounded by cafes, small shops and restaurants, something for everyone.
The large family-friendly sandy beach at Praa Sands is a short twenty minute drive away.

We really enjoyed our week at Cowhouse Cottage, which was comfortable and well equipped. May is the perfect time to visit Cornwall and we made the most of the fine weather, beautiful scenery and fantastic wild flower displays. Highlights were the gorgeous beach and stunning Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, St. Michael's Mount, Trebah Gardens and a rather challenging walk (for two elderly ladies!) from Kynance to Lizard Point....

We had a wonderful time. On arrival, we had fresh flowers in the vase, milk in the fridge, log fire prepared...we were very pleasantly surprised how spacious the cottage was, warm, very quiet and very comfortable. John, the owner, came around to make sure we have everything we need. Highly recommended!!!...
