We loved our holiday at the 'little blue house'. It was a great location, near to the quay/beach and lovely beach theme with great attention to detail. Ample parking for 2 cars too. The kitchen was small but well formed. Really well thought out about what utensils, pots and pans you'd need. A cupboard was also cleared for our food shopping which was very handy. Lots of cups, glasses and crockery and proper knife block, as well as an undercounter fridge in the kitchen and freestanding fridge freezer in the games room. We felt like whoever owns the property knows what is needed when self-catering! Toilet paper was supplied as well as a great welcome basket with all the necessities like tea/coffee, cake, biscuits and wine! A lovely unexpected treat. Bedding and beds were great, all the rooms had full length shutters on the windows, so it was pretty dark. We used some travel blackout blinds too for our baby but easy enough to put up and take down. Our sons loved all the toys and games, which was a big bonus as we didn't need to pack the car with entertainment. The seating area was very comfortable and the TV had smart capabilities which was extremely welcome. A large entrance and games room entrance is also perfect if you have a buggy/scooters. The garden is well kept and there is enough outdoor seating for 6 people. You do access the garden via the front door and then side gate, which is literally the only slight drawback with young children as there is no gate at the front of the property but given everything else, it's a minor thing. We have already recommended the property and would certainly choose to stay here again. ...

An excellent and comfortable base to explore the delightful town of Mudeford. Very good facilities for 5/6 adults with TV, Sonos and WiFi for those rainy days. Location is only 10 mins to the Quayside and Beach. Christchurch is only 30 mins walk away through the wild meadows. Via a short ferry across to the Mudeford Spit is the Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve and Visitors Centre, a very pleasant walk....

This is a suburban bungalow in close proximity to its neighbours. Its saving grace is its position. Mudeford Quay is a ten minute walk for a not so able-bodied adult. Highcliffe Castle and its wonderful new path down to the beach is only three miles and in the other direction the October traffic allowed us to be on Purbeck in an hour. The lack of a bath could cause problems for those with children who do not like a shower. The ensuite is small. Devoted cooks would not have much workspace but we found the kitchen well-equipped for our quick efforts and there was an abundance of glass and crockery. A mention should be given to the fish and chips 5 minutes away. BOTH fish and chips were EXCELLENT. Buses to Lymington run along the bottom of the road and presumably Bournemouth in the opposite direction. ...

Mrs Dudman October 2020
We loved this holiday home and look forward to returning. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. It was clean, spacious and stylish. Our weather for the week we stayed wasn't great but The house was such a great place to feel at home in and enjoy some time away....
