The cottage was well equipped and the view from the garden was amazing - easy to reach all the places we love to visit - and the sun shone!

Well stocked kitchen. Super to have 2 x fridges and freezers Great utility room. Lovely big bath towels. Location was super with facilities close by. Been holidaying in Polzeath/Trebetherick every year at least once since 1958, and this location was a delightful spot and great for cycling too. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach across the Golf Club. Despite the area heaving with people this year, we did feel we were away from the crowds which was great....

Aside from the master bedroom, the bedrooms are very small with very little and poorly designed storage. This cottage is not really suitable for four adults and two children. Four people maximum is the limit.

Don’t count on the WiFi!

A lovely clean and spacious cottage for guests with a 4 wheel drive vehicle, and a wish for a golf holiday or peace & quiet (ie. poor mobile phone signal!!) The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, and the power shower in the en-suite was a wonderful start to the day! The kitchen saucepans and utensils are being replaced which should make self catering in the large open plan kitchen easy. Neighbours said there was a 15 minute walk across the golf course to the Polzeath village. For those with accessibility issues it was a 10 minute drive and parking on the beach (out of season) was easy and cost £1 for an hour. The Spar supermarket catered for most needs, including a bakery section and off-license. The hot chocolate from the beach side cafe at the end of a beach walk was lovely! I emphasise the need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle as the cottage is situated past the golf course clubhouse, and the driveway is long and has lots of very deep potholes....

We're so pleased to see that you had a great time. Thanks for your feedback - in relation to the access road, we visited in late autumn 2020 and found that this had been recently resurfaced by the estate team at The Point so should offer a smoother arrival (all our colleagues drive standard VW Golfs, so a 4x4 is definitely not required).
