Beautifully presented and equipped cottage, ideal for 3 or 4 adults as well as families. Bedrooms are quirky with odd windows and small en suites due to the roof space but suited us perfectly. Wonderfully quiet location, access road is in need of attention but easy access for the A30 and all that West Cornwall has to offer. We thought being ahead of May half term Cornwall would be a bit quieter - we were wrong - certainly for 2021 book everything in advance - St Michael’s Mount, Minack visit (try and catch ‘Billy’s’ turn on stage giving you a potted history - on certain days only), Museums/Galleries/restaurants/Pubs etc - luckily we had booked some and had a fab meal at 2 Fore St Mousehole. Nearest pub only doing takeaway so didnt try it. Parking also a problem in most places. We had mixed weather and managed to book a wet afternoon visit at Penlee Galeery in Penzance - a superb exhibition of the Newlyn School. Decided to visit St Ives on way home - parked at Carbis Bay and got the train in - St Ives was topped up so we had a quick look round and left. If all properties are this good would definitely book with Classic Cottages again....

Apple Loft Cottage was a real find. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need to make your stay an enjoyable one. Where instructions were required (heating, water and the induction hob) they were readily available and clear and concise. The wood burner was put to good use and was so enjoyable to watch that it replaced the TV, very relaxing - re-stocking the wood was simple, it's right outside in the courtyard. The property location was away from any form of road noise ensuring a peaceful and restful break and the outside space was well designed and comfortable - our Springer Flo loved it as did we. Would we go back? ...... absolutely!...

It was very well thought out. All the equipment was where you expected it to be in the kitchen. Condiments and wood much appreciated. Also posh hair dryer! All made for a happy stay. Thank you.
