The ground floor wet-room is fully wheelchair accessible.

This is Lichen, the ground floor bedroom. There is a 'zip and link' bed which can become twin beds and a further single bed; a great family room.
The separate family bathroom is light and cheery, perfect for a soak at the end of the day.

The cottage met the needs of all our party excellently, especially my disabled father. The downstairs bedroom and wetroom worked really well, and the lounge was spacious enough to move a wheelchair around easily. A beautiful peaceful place!

Beautifully cottage in a lovely setting! Would highly recommend for groups and family gatherings. The cottage was very well equipped and the cottage was very accessible for my elderly mothers needs. Our stay at Beech Cottage was made even more special when a study group from the Kingcombe centre placed a moth trap in the garden. They allowed us to discover the ‘finds’ of the previous night with them and their enthusiasm for moths was infectious! None of us had any idea of the variety of moths to be found. We also enjoyed walking in the meadows in early summer seeing the variety of wild flowers. We think their were bats nesting under the eaves above the conservatory as we saw them fly out in the evening - no doubt catching some of those lovely moths!...
