This cottage is delightful, being furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The cottage is set in a large glorious garden which we were encouraged to enjoy. Leigh Barn is a stunning peaceful retreat, yet Aune Valley Meat farm shop is just 0.6 miles ( 3 minutes in the car ) and Churchstow is 1.6 miles ( less than 5 minutes in the car ) There is a great village shop and pub here, as well as at Loddiswell, 2 miles away ( just over 5 minutes in the car ) We very much hope to welcome you back in the future. A very comfortable stay in a wonderful property. Warm welcome from delightful and knowledgeable owners. The remote location offers a wonderful sense of peace and quite, best enjoyed in the spacious gardens. The house is warm and spacious. Lovely linens, towels etc. Workable spacious dinning kitchen. Very comfortable, spacious lounge area. Responsive heating system, and hot water on tap. The remoteness = very narrow lanes to the property. Fortunately the lanes are rarely busy. If you want peace, quite, topped off with a dollop of character / history then Leigh Barn would be well recommended. ...
