We had a perfect holiday here with lots of adventures in the local area and hours of hide and seek in the garden. We were very lucky with the weather and very glad to have enjoyed the beautiful grounds.

Stunning gardens with delightful 'wilding areas'. Lovely traditional property with fascinating history dating back to Saxon times. A 'must'.

We loved our stay at Leigh Barn which was comfortable, cosy and very well equipped. It has a peaceful, rural location in lovely countryside yet is just a short distance from a well stocked farm shop & cafe and pub. It is only a 15 minute drive to multiple places on the South Hams peninsula for great coastal walks, beaches and exploring. There was more than enough nearby to keep us busy during our stay as well as lots of lovely places a little further away....

We are so pleased you had a lovely holiday and found the cottage to be cosy and surrounded by peaceful countryside. Perfect for exploring all that South Hams has to offer. We hope you will be able to visit again soon. Sarah R, Customer Support

Be aware that property is in part of Leigh Barton which incorporates 3 properties as this is not obvious when trying to find cottage which is not visible from car when travelling down narrow lane as it sits behind an electronic gate and there is no sign on facing wall when travelling from North after passing through Loddiswell. If you want complete peace and quiet be aware of barking dogs in next property on Leigh Barton. Could have been cleaner such as dusty stereo, under kitchen units, oven/cooker needed good clean, as did toaster and kettle had to be descaled, despite acknowledging it is an old property which has been converted in rural area. Dont expect any shop for provisions that is walking distance and the narrow lane where the cottage is located maybe not one for any driver wary of having to reverse for any oncoming vehicle (which is rare) as passing places are limited. Nice gardens to sit/eat if weather permits and well equipped. Good base for exploring immediate area and slightly further afield with good pub in Churchstow for Sunday lunch/evening meals and great cafe nearby on outskirts of Loddiswell for breakfast ...
