If you are looking for total tranquility and peace and quiet,to recharge away from busy life this place is absolutely perfect. The scenery is amazing,the fishing lake made me happy,dog's loved the freedom of the fields near by. The shops are not to far about 10 to 15 minute drive,takeaways and supermarkets. We had a great week at Shepherd's Delight. Paul was a very friendly and welcoming host, meeting us on arrival, advising us on the local area, and inviting us to see the Alpacas close to the farm. The hut and surroundings were beautiful. On a (rare) rainy day, the hut was cosy and warm. On sunny days, it was great to relax around the lake. The hut is in a great location for exploring Devon and Cornwall, and we can only hope to return soon! ...
