I personally didn’t stay, we booked it as a 50th wedding anniversary for my parents. They were thrilled at the cottage, said it was extremely well equipped and all the amenities were new and clean. The area is lovely and it’s great for people who have disabilities and can’t get up stairs. The owners also went out of their way to make it special by putting up gold balloons and chocolates and wine, which my parents were really grateful for. They’re already thinking of going back again next year. ...

Our second visit to the Old Barn and it was just as good as we remembered. The cottage is superb - all of the furniture and fixtures are top quality and the conversion of the barn is fantastic. The location is great - only a couple of minutes from the M5 but on a really quiet rural road. We are already planning a visit next year....
