A great stay at Driftwood and we were lucky to escape the very high temperatures of the rest of the UK and enjoy the coastal breeze. Lelant was a great location for buses & the picturesque train ride into St Ives. We were doing a couple of sections of the SW coastal path so the logistics worked well. Huge, gorgeous and empty beaches a short walk away and St Ives was near enough for provisions, ice creams, restaurants, pubs, seals.......and some more great beaches! We would return to Driftwood but the next section of the coastal path beckons! ...

A very comfortable house with everything you need in a great location. A 10 minute walk brings you to Porthkidney beach which is absolutely beautiful. We caught the train from the bottom of the hill into St Ives and walked back along the coast path.

The ease of booking this property couldn't have been better. Excellent location and driftwood was a lovely well equipped stay with a high standard finish. It suited our family and dog brilliantly for the week. Only downside was the cleanliness of the property. Felt like it had just been given a general wipe down instead of cleaning. This wouldn't put us off a return visit, as the rest outweighed the negative. ...

Very comfortable and spacious cottage with everything you need. Great location. 10 min walk to Porth kidney beach which is beautiful and never gets busy. St Michael’s mount only a few miles away. We also had a great day out to the scilly isles from Penzance. ...
