... and arrive at Lane Cottage.
The black is the front of Lane Cottage with cute feature window - the key safe and back door are around to the left, down the passage.
This is the entrance to Rosemary Lane. Lane Cottage is off a tiny square with private parking at the end of the lane.
The River Barle flows through Dulverton - there are some lovely walks alongside it.
Exmoor is as beautiful in the Autumn as it is in Summer. Pack your walking boots and take a long hike - perhaps to have lunch at a cosy pub somewhere......
The ancient clapper bridge, of Tarr Steps is just a few miles from Dulverton. Have a beautiful walk along the river and stroll across this historic monument.
Walk, ride or drive across Exmoor and you are almost bound to see the charismatic Exmoor ponies. This Stallion was quite a poser.
Exmoor has quite a few Red Deer tucked into the coombes and up on the hills. You just have to find them.......
Wimbleball Lake is nearby - for lovely lakeside walks and a range of watersports to enjoy.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful old cottage. Great location in the centre of Dulverton but so quiet and relaxing. Everything you need in this small but perfectly formed home-from-home. Cosy evenings were spent in front of the log burner after fabulous Exmoor walks....

Should mention the narrow access. A small car would not be an issue.
