Head up into the Quantock Hills across the Vale of Taunton. This is Headford Reservoir. There is a parking/viewing point where you can take in the beautiful view.
Head west to the classic english moorland of Exmoor, with it's iconic Exmoor ponies.
Just a few miles away are the Somerset Levels, with waterways buzzing with insects and the air filled with birdsong. You may even get a view of Glastonbury Tor.
The amazing beach at Kilve on the north Somerset coast. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and famous for fossils.

A return visit for myself after my two daughters booked a surprise long weekend birthday treat for us all. A wonderful welcome again from Tammy , she truly is an excellent hostess and rightly very proud of her holiday cottage.Everything has the personal touch about it and a true home from home experience. It is immaculately presented and very comfortable and covid safe. It is situated on their working farm which is extremely well kept, stunning views over the farmland from all the windows. Fabulous location on the edge of the village and only a few minutes walk to The New Inn, which is also very welcoming and serves superb food. We ate there twice and it’s an amazing place. So many great things to do nearby. We visited Dulverton and loved the walk to Tarr Steps . Hestercombe House and parkland were wonderful in the Autumn sunshine as were the National Trust properties. We couldn’t wait to return after a day’s walking to the fabulous hot tub. It is immaculately clean , fresh water for new guests.The perfect place for star gazing!!! and the odd glass of fizz!! We had a fabulous weekend break, thank you for providing such an excellent holiday home. We sincerely hope we can visit again in 2022. ...

This is our 2nd time of staying at Bumble Bee Barn & we couldn’t recommend it enough. If you are looking for a a relaxing break where you can switch off from life, this is the place. Remote location in a small village, great local friendly pub. Tammy is a great host. We will return again ...

After a rough start to 2021 for me & my family, I was looking forward to taking my husband away for a break/change of scenery. Upon our arrival, we were definitely not disappointed, Tammy was very welcoming & the welcome pack she left us was a lovely surprise. The barn was very spacious, there was everything you needed, Tammy had certainly thought of everything. Our overall stay was very enjoyable, the bumble bee theme around the barn was a lovely touch, the location & views were lovely. We would certainly recommend this property. ...
