Mrs Male September 2024

We spent the most perfect week at Bumble Bee Barn. The weather was incredible and we did gorgeous walks from the property every day. The property itself was absolutely amazing. We had the warmest welcome from Tammy and we loved the welcome pack she left us. The barn was very well equipped with everything we needed. It was cosy, comfortable but spacious. We really couldn't fault anything and can't wait to come back. Thank you Tammy. ...

Peaceful location. Cottage is extremely well equipped and comfortable. Watching the stars in the night sky, whilst enjoying the hot tub is a joy! Tammy is the most wonderful host! Great holiday

The owner Tammy is really helpful and easy to contact, and once settled in you are afforded complete privacy. The local inn in Halse village is about 8-10 minutes walk from the barn. Walking is easy along local waymarked footpaths and also with care along the lanes: we found vehicles very accommodating to two plodders not in the first flush of youth! We walked to Bishops Lydeard, which took 50mins-1hr each way, and lunched there in the Bird in Hand pub. There is also a small tea room/cafe in this village, which sadly we didn't get to sample, but a small Co-op supermarket and an independent newsagent, both of which we did. ...
