Aveton Cottage far exceeded our expectations. The booking process was easy with great communication from both Classic Cottages and the host, Helen. It was hard to picture the accommodation beforehand, but the cottage and the location were perfect; tranquil and private but with easy access to a beautiful riverside walk, or with a short drive, the nearest town or coastal walks. Everything we needed was there. And more. We loved lying in bed listening to the owls, but otherwise there was no noise. It was a real treat to have all the facilities to ourselves. We'd like to keep this place a secret but have already recommended it to several friends! This is definitely on our 'places to return to' list. Thank you to Helen at Aveton and to Classic Cottages for helping us find it....

Aveton Cottage exceeded all expectations! It was not only beautiful, cosy and comfortable but it was private and secure which was just what we were looking for. The owners did a great job of making us feel at home even though we didn’t see them. The instructions and the cake and all the little touches were greatly appreciated. It was an amazing stay, we really cannot fault it at all! Thank you all so much. Exclusive access to the pool was our favourite feature. Having that complete privacy was just perfect and made it so much more comfortable and enjoyable! the games room was great fun and the cottage itself was spectacular. Loved having use of the washer and dryer especially since we used the pool a lot and visited the nearby beaches. Honestly it was amazing. Everything was thought out and convenient. Best holiday ever. We love this house because of the amazing pool and facilities that come with it. We really appreciate that the owners are thoughtful about their guests privacy and that the pool is not shared. We also love the thought that obviously goes into making everything so convenient for guests by providing hand wash, dishwasher tablet etc it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed the extras they provide....
