The cottage was extremely cosy (especially during a November storm), and spotless. The owner was very nice and informative, and he even let us arrive early and leave later, as there were no bookings immediately after us.

Loved the garden and the daily visit from the pheasants. The cottage is a short walk from the beach, can hear & see the sea from the garden the place to go to relax and recover from busy life.

Fred’s House is so clean, comfortable and homely. Perfect location for a trip to the beach to rock pool for crabs. Lovely garden full of interesting birds to spot. Even a woodpecker. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back. Thanks to Sarah for being such a welcoming and helpful host....

The steep hill from the beach was fine for us but could be a problem for some people to walk.

Fred's House is situated five minutes up the hill from the family-firendly beaches at Talland - however should you need a rest there is a hotel half way up the hill that would offer welcome refreshments and a car park at the bottom of the hill that has plenty of space for dropping people off.
