The cottage was a great find and was exactly as suggested on the description i.e. an absolute haven to come back to every day after touring Cornwall. The serenity of the view through the upper Juliet balcony window towards the rural countryside was beautiful. This is next door to the delightful and very helpful owners, Tony and Helen’s own property and after the initial show around they give you complete privacy to enjoy a relaxing stay....

The hosts at Swallow's nest were very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay there. They had fitted a stair gate on account of our little one which was a great help and really appreciated. There were nice touches to include local guide books in the cottage along with a good supply of tea bags (and biscuits). The location of the cottage was excellent as only 10 minutes to Truro and short drive to other points of interest. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine in the cottage was also an added bonus. It is probably worth noting that the bed was very firm as were the pillows....
