You will be welcome to explore the farm - just ask the owners - and to watch the wildlife using the lake. Please take care and supervise children at all times.

The owners are happy to introduce you to their Alpacas, Bondi, Crinny and Polo.
You may be able to feed these gentle Alpacas.
The Half Moon pub in Melplash is one mile away.
The stunning Jurassic cliffs at West Bay. Have lunch at the Watch House cafe - right on the beach.
West Bay has the nearest beach to Barbridge Cottage - this is the pretty harbour there.
This is the beach at Seatown, just below Dorset's famous Golden Cap. There is a lovely pub here too, perfect for lazy seaside lunches.

This was our second stay at the cottage - we rebooked because our first stay was so enjoyable. Nothing has changed in that regard, our second stay lived up to our expectations and we had another wonderful holiday. The property is very comfortable and contains everything we needed, the location is beautiful and the owners are both very friendly and extremely helpful....

We had a lovely stay at Barbridge Cottage. The location is beautiful and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us a very generous food hamper which included fresh eggs from their chickens. The cottage itself is all on one level and has a wet room with hand rails which was ideal for my slightly disabled brother. It was beautifully kept and had everything we needed. Highly recommended....
