The hosts at Popplestone are lovely, as were their various pets, the setting is stunning, good facilities to make good and bad weather days enjoyable, the surrounding villages and countryside are lovely and there are plenty of places of interest to enjoy. Stunning walks and views both on the farm and nearby, lovely pub gardens, and the list goes on. The property was very well equipped for a holiday stay, and the scones and homemade preserves on arrival were particularly delicious. Highly recommended....

Had a brilliant time, fantastic views and wildlife. Welcoming and friendly owners. Lovely cottage, very clean and peaceful. Good location for days out. Pubs and restaurants about a 20 minute drive away. We'll definitely return.
