Popplestone is amazing in every way. The cottage is clean and cosy with beautiful views. Excellent for dogs with its enclosed garden and local walks. Shops only a short distance away by car but you still feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Its so relaxing cant recommend it enough. The cottage was very clean & the linen smelled freshly laundered. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The hosts were fabulous & very friendly, as were their beautiful dogs. Although the cottage is quite secluded, everything is within easy driving distance. The birds that feed in the garden are beautiful & If you’re an early riser then it’s definitely worth a wander outside, I was lucky enough to see a badger one morning. Fantastic cottage, beautiful location....

A throughly delightful stay at Popplestone. The cottage is so well equipped and comfortable, the best we’ve stayed in. Lovely thoughtful touches. To arrive after a long journey to find homemade scones, jam,clotted cream and a tray laid out for tea was very welcome indeed. We will definitely book again....
