Mrs Street September 2022

Water's Edge is as good as the photos depict. Sitting out on the patio with the harbour in front was both relaxing and interesting, watching the harbour traffic and the small ferries coming and going from the nearby Prince of Wales Pier. The only drawback is the garage, we had a small car (Peugeot 108) so were able to access it without a problem but larger cars may find their best option is the parking space provided about 1/2 mile away. The best holiday self catering accommodation my sister and I have ever used. Spotlessly clean with everything provided, all you have to do is put your feet up and enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine!...

It was a very pleasant suprise to discover the location of the property in respect of the proximity to all amenities particularly the flat level terrain of the high street, this was a big bonus as 1 member of the party had mobility issues.

This is a lovely property in a great location; great access to the ferries for Flushing, St Mawes and beyond to Place and The Roseland Penninsular, or up the Fal to Trellisick, Malpas or Truro when the tide is right. Take a trip across the bay to the Helford or just sit on the patio and watch the world go by on the water. Waitrose will deliver here but also the local shops are handy. The Beacon Coffee shop and Stones Bakery are both lovely and only 2 minutes walk away. Further afield to Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens or around via King Harry Ferry to the Roseland and The Thirstea Cafe at Port at Towan Beach or lunch at The Hidden Hut at Porthcurnick. . according to the season. Bring a good book and relax 'at home' especially a treat when the Falmouth Working Boats and local sailing clubs take their boats out for a race. Sit on the patio or watch from the First Floor Sitting Room for a great view. ...

Waters Edge is a gorgeous house in a fantastic setting with wonderful views. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house however (we have stayed before) is starting to feel a little bit ‘tired’. A new bathroom has been fitted downstairs which is excellent but the rest of the house needs attention. However we would definitely stay again and we love Falmouth!...
