The aptly named ‘Song of The Sea’ was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, both in name and location, it being so near to the water that one’s senses really are soothed by the song of the sea. The holiday let is housed in an old Victorian Coastal Fort steeped in history now redeveloped into a complex of flats and lets. The ‘Song of the Sea’ is a clean, well presented let with all the amenities one needs for a stay, culminating with a stunning balcony view just yards from the waters edge of the Bay and surrounding coastline. Well recommended and would certainly come back again....

The view from this apartment is stunning. It's comfortable, light, airy, and the Fort itself is quirky and beautiful. The nearby villages are lovely and it's so easy to reach Plymouth on the ferry if you fancy leaving the peace and quiet behind for a while. Perfect! I cried when it was time to leave. ...
