Very pleased with our stay at Chy Lowen and would certainly be happy to revisit and recommend
Mrs O'Halloran August 2019
We all absolutely loved our stay at Chy Lowen. It’s a beautiful cottage, clean and bright with exceptional views. The High Street being just a hop and a skip away was perfect too. We look forward to visiting Chy Lowen again sometime.

This is a spacious, light house in an excellent location for Falmouth town centre - we loved it!

As previously stated this is superb house in an excellent position with a three minute walk into Falmouth high street.

I've stayed in many self catering properties, some of which have been truly exceptional for location, comfort and value for money. I put Chy Lowen (992) at the top of that group. Assuming Falmouth's steep hills aren't an issue (if they are, don't go there), what's not to like about a property situated on a quiet 'no through road', great views, allocated parking and only a two minute walk to the shops, pubs and ferry? All the rooms are big, well equipped and are warm and comfortably furnished. We were staying out of season, but even so we thought a week's stay was remarkable value (except that the parking permit fell off the car dashboard and we ended up with three parking tickets in two days for failing to display the permit - it's an allocated bay, no one else can park there but.........oh well a £105 lesson learned). It's understandable that the beds in one of the twin rooms are described as suitable only for children. However, one of our party was happy to take that room because it effectively gave him the top floor, including a bathroom, all to himself. He's in his late fifties and if he can do it........worth asking, is all I'm saying. Falmouth is a great place and the locals are lovely. My favourite pub was the Oddfellows (100yards). Breakfast in Fuel (150yards) will set you up nicely (try the pancakes). The Maritime Museum is expensive and probably not worth the money.....all a bit child orientated. Check out the ferries - great fun....
