We enjoyed our stay at Chy Lowen. We travelled by train and the property is within walking distance of Falmouth Town station. Also it is only a short walk to the town centre. Some people might find it hilly but that is what Falmouth is like. Not a problem for us. The house is bright and well decorated and nicely appointed with good views over the harbour....

Chy Lowen has an ideal location for proximity to the centre of Falmouth with access to restaurants, cafes, and shops but the location for walking is steep with stairs and therefore difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Chy Lowen is an ideally situated property overlooking Falmouth town and harbour. It's a 5 minute walk away from the high street with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes etc to choose from, and then around 15-20 minute walk from Castle and Gyllyngvase beach which was ideal for us. We did find the layout a little odd with no toilet on the "ground floor" with the living room and kitchen, and then bathrooms and bedrooms on the lower one, and the terrace leads out from this floor too so would be a bit awkward to have a meal outside, but still a nice outdoor space to have. The house is a little old fashioned in places but overall comfortable and has everything you need. The location is definitely the best thing about the property, with good parking for two cars also a big plus. Wonderful views to check the weather and sea conditions for the day from the living room.
