Great location a step away from the shop, pub and sea. Lovely bedrooms. The cottage is newly decorated and in good order.

Amazing week away in Portscatho, the cottage is in the perfect location given its stumbling distance to everything the village has to offer and the weather was incredible (had to keep reminding ourselves it was the end of October). The cottage has charm and was a good base however, it is dated in parts and could do with a bit of TLC as some items in the house didn’t work and others looked like they could stop at any moment. The closed room layout made it a challenge with young children given no stair gates and needing to be in the same room with them at all times so would advise better with older children. Overall it we had a great week, likely would have struggled if the weather had been bad and made us stuck inside. We would return as the location was perfect but we would look for other properties first....
