This is a lovely cottage which is very well designed and with a fantastic range of facilities. It is perfectly placed for the coast and the countryside of East Devon. The location is private and secluded and there are wonderful views over the Sid valley. Kevin was a very helpful host. We visited in winter - but there was still plenty to do and lots of places to explore. We even managed lunch on the patio of a restaurant in Lyme Regis. Not bad for December. Well worth coming back to. ...

Great place for a family holiday although slightly off the beaten track, down narrow lanes but easy to find. As a result, it is extremely quiet, it would not be advisable to walk anywhere (i.e. the local pub) from here, particularly if dark and a slog uphill. Watched a deer wander past the front door one morning. Very well decorated in modern, contemporary and tasteful décor. Lovely bathrooms. If you like "dark skies" for stargazing, you would love this place - bring your telescope. do try the alpaca treks up the hill! wifi plenty enough to do what we needed to do no problem. The deck and view is great but due to a lot of rain didn't get a lot of use :( Owner helped with one very minor oversight quickly, no issues during our stay. ...

Larch Barn has everything needed for a cottage holiday. Location tucked off the beaten track but not that far to the coast and other attractions. Very well equipped and comfortable. The countryside views and access to the East Devon Way were a bonus.
