Simply put Willows Rest has to be the nicest property we have stayed at. The conversion from a barn to a holiday let is superb, from the finish of the building to the soft furnishings and the style, it is simply beautiful and was a real pleasure to stay in. The thoughtful welcome hamper containing a good selection of treats set the scene of what was a perfect holiday. The open plan living area upstairs was a pleasure to sit in for all 9 of us each evening, some going into the snug to watch TV. Due to the open plan style of the kitchen it was possible for all 9 of us to help prepare meals and tidy up. The beds are so comfortable too, which is hard to achieve in a holiday let, but they did not disappoint. The supplied toiletries in all the bathrooms were luxurious and smelt amazing. The owner welcomed us on arrival and was on hand to help if we needed anything but he made us feel that the property was ours for the week and made us feel extremely comfortable having him nearby. The views from the hot tub were amazing and some, who tried the pool, said it was lovely. I am sure there is more but I can't think. I would very highly recommend this property....

This is an idyllic setting. Barn and location were perfect for us to have a chilled time away and because of it’s size catching up with family (mum’s 80th). The layout and garden areas never make you fill overcrowded. The owners are as helpful or as distant as you require, which is ideal. The owners directions got us to this isolated spot without issue. We as a family had such a brilliant time we are definitely returning. Although we were all adults, we could see aspects of the barn and outside areas set up nicely for children, with water toys and floats in the pool, places for stair gates and toy boxes in the pantry, so good for a child or two. Although my 20 something nieces did enjoy the floats and would have look through the toy boxes if found! Willows Rest was better than we expected and the quality of fixture and fittings make it feel you are somewhere special....

Lovely place to stay. Everything you need for a perfect getaway. Not to far away from attractions. Raymond was very helpful. Pure luxury. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Would return in a heartbeat.

It surpassed our expectations. Loved the spaciousness of the house, the grounds with a wonderful play area but above all the swimming pool.
