Laurel Cottage is delightful; set in a peaceful secluded location with a myriad of visiting wildlife within the grounds, the house is comfortable and well equipped. Alan and Suzannah are very hospitable and friendly and provided some thoughtful touches to make visitors feel welcome. There are two terraces and a good enclosed garden at the property, ideal if you have children or a dog. It is well located for exploring several villages, towns and beaches within a 20 mile radius. Our particular favourites were Salcome (although parking can be difficult) and Bigbury on Sea - the gateway to Burgh Island. We visited on a short break and despite the mixed weather we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Laurel Cottage. ...

Beautiful, well furnished and equiped quaint cottage, in a quiet location. The back garden was perfect for our dog as it was completely fenced off and there are extensive paddocks beyond it. Our hosts couldn't have been kinder or more helpful to us....
